Ahhh To-Do Lists! They are by far my favorite part of school. There is no better feeling then crossing off an item! You'll learn to love them too (:

1. Get out a sticky-note, loose leaf, or a cute printed template offline

2. Look in your planner (see how useful these are!) for your assignments for the week

3. For each day of the week (or you can just do these list on a daily basis--totally up to you) write out specifically what need to get done.
--EX: Got a test in History that Friday on 5 chapters? M: Read Ch1-2 in book & notes, T: Read Ch 3-4 in book &notes, W: Read Ch 5 in book & notes Th: Skim all chapters and all notes, F: TEST!
--That is how I personally prefer to break down my week & I write these kinds of lists for each subject

4. Try to put the most important tasks at the top of list and the least important ones at the bottom. This way you are accomplishing the most pertinent task first and working your way down

5. After completing a task, cross it off! YAY! You did it!

Writing down all these assignments is a very easy way to keep yourself organized. You are more likely to finish them by having them clearly in-front of yourself. Also, these tasks do not have to be school related! Things like dropping something off at the post office to returning a phone call should be on there!
