There is no room in college for any "sick days"! It's stressful as is so you need to make sure you're putting away time for your mental and physical health.

1. Exercise! When you exercise your body realeases chemicals known as endorphins. These promote positive feelings :) Excercise also reduces stress, helps you sleep, increases your energy, and improves your self esteem. So, make sure to keep time in your week to go for a run, lift some weights, do yoga, or even just some simple stretching.

2. Get enough sleep! On average, a college student should get somewhere between 6-8 hours a night! Not getting enough sleep will make you sluggish the next day, inhibit your learning, note taking, and everything else in your day. If you need a nap, take one! A quick 20-30 one will re-charge your brain!

3. Brain Foods! Here are some "super foods" to help maintain brain power! Blueberries, wild salmon, nuts/seeds, avacados, whole grains, beans, pomegrante juice, freshly brewed tea, and dark chocolate. All of these foods will help you stay focused, and energized for the day. So when you go to grab a study snack, see if you have any of those foods in your pantry!
